Wholistic vitality is defined as a whole and holistic way of living and doing business that adds vitality to the whole of life. Holistically looking at and addressing the systems, processes, inputs, outputs and results such that what is being built, created, implemented, sold, cleaned, grown, produced, done… adds or results in vitality, health, wellness and improvement to all life on the planet.
From a business perspective, Wholistic Vitality goes beyond sustainability and is an operating principle that businesses adopt and run by to ensure their activities, developments, growth, products and investments are produced and implemented in ways that they add vitality to humans and all life. That is, adding vitality to all the stakeholders in the business’s activities, e.g., the business’s employees, its neighbors, its broader community, the environment, its bottom line, its investors, shareholders, etc.
Wholistic Vitality, as a core operating principle for governments, NGOs, non-profits, community organizations and even individuals, produces more beneficial results than a sustainable approach which appears to have lost its inspirational meaning and comprehensiveness.
